Many faces that carried pain could be seen in the five meets organised on the third day of the Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi’s 5 day UP tour. People have really suffered under the incumbent Mayawati government of the state.
A villager Ambika Prashad from Shankarpur, district Balrampur expressed his concerns for governance, administration and the social problems. He mentioned the government officials and the bureaucrats are the most problematic.
“The government officials and the bureaucrats are the ones who create majority of the problem. Government should be strict. The officials should not be given so much of money as salary. Road in my area is not finalised yet. Several times the MP and the MLA were told about this,” said Prashad.
The common man is really pissed off and angry with the ruling BSP government in the state. Problem of road, electricity and water supply is very common these days. Corruption and crime is the major culprit according to the people there.
Madhav Parmar, a resident of village Bharvapur was angry over the judiciary and court system in his area. “The extra land around the village should be given to the BPL families. Under the MGNREGA, money comes in huge amount but no work is there to do. There is Judiciary problem. The person who pays much gets his hearing. The officials there are rigorously bribed.”
The “Rahul Saga” has once again triumphed in reaching to the masses. The charismatic Congress leader’s appeal and presence is as such it attracts everyone’s attention.
