Rahul Gandhi is focused on development of Bundelkhand

Lashing out against Mayawati government for neglecting the problems of the people of Bundelkhand, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has assured that development of the region will be taken care of by his party. Recently youth Congress (I) leader was speaking to a delegation of people from Bundelkhand who had come to Delhi. Rahul Gandhi said, “Leave it me. I will see that issues relating to people of Bundelkhand are resolved.” It will be recalled that while Mayawati government has neglected development of this region, it is Rahul Gandhi who is taking the leading to solve the issues of the region. He has been visiting the region and interacting with the people. Due to his efforts Center sanctioned a special package of Rs 8,000 crores for integrated development of the region. HRD Ministry has also worked out a plan to set up 7 Kendriya Vidyalayas there. Even the Prime Minister recently visited the region to assure the people that their concerns will be addressed by Congress (I)-led UPA government at the Centre.
