Rahul Gandhi’s brought foresighted changes in NSUI and IYC

Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi is not in politics for the heck of it nor is he going about it the way leaders in other political parties are doing. Rahul Gandhi strongly holds that corruption before the country is a serious issues. So are the issues of economic disparity, lack of administrative reforms affecting governance issues. While these are visible symptoms of the malady the real cause for all this lies in the way present political system is organized within political parties, said Rahul Gandhi. Leaders in political parties are nominated rather than selected by democratic means. As a result there is full scope for nepotism which brings forth corrupt leaders who work to leverage the system in their own favor. To do away with this corruption, Rahul Gandhi has introduced democratic elections within NSUI and IYC. As a result while strength of NSUI and IYC has increased it has brought forth educated and dedicated youth leaders with clean background, said Rahul Gandhi adding that no other political party has done this so far.
