Flaying UP Chief Minister Mayawati for widespread corruption in the state, Congress (I) has said Mayawati’s BSP government has developed new terminology in Government Tax system. It is now popularly known as Maya Tax. Every transaction has a percentage of the maya share fixed in them. On each and every transaction all have to pay Maya Commission. You name any program or welfare scheme like Garib Rozgaar Yojana, Bal Pushta Aahar, Vidhwa and Vridha Pension or land allotment schemes and Group Housing schemes, Maya tax and Maya commission is collected. Congress (I) said Mayawati government is ridden with Maha Ghotalas amounting to thousands of crores of rupees. Under Mayawati government bhrashtachar has become a shishtachar during the last 4 years, said Congress (I). So far as many as eleven ministers of Mayawati government have been dropped from her cabinet on account of corruption charges while another half-dozen have been convicted by courts for involvement in crimes or facing criminal proceedings, said Congress (I).
