Priyanka Gandhi Vadra: Opposition does not allow UPA government to function

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra interacted with the media during her election campaign in Amethi and Raebareli in the crucial state of Uttar Pradesh where the assembly polls are going to be held from February 8. The seven phase elections will end on 3rd March.

Priyanka Gandhi then responded to the allegations of BJP against the Home Minister P Chidambaram and said “I feel as a Home Minister he has an enormous and huge responsibility towards the people of this country. I just feel sad that every time I see that he has to waste his time responding to the ranks of people who are unconcerned about the issues he has to actually deal with. They take away from precious time that he should be devoting towards the country and his responsibilities towards this country. And I feel the same about our government. I feel that it is sad on how much time is wasted on not allowing the Government to function”.

When again asked whether Rahul Gandhi will become PM she asked “Does this have anything to do with this UP election?” she said with a smile while leaving the place.
