Unlike BJP which is known for bungling and trouble-creation, Congress keeps its focus on working out solutions. In the context of the situation in J&K Congress party sent the all-party delegation in J&K for in-depth analysis of the situation there. Intention was to meet the common people and to know their views. Congress believes that exchange of views is the best way to understand the problem in its different perspective. Demand for autonomy is neither new nor exclusive. Other states in the country too have been raising such demand. Nobody is against such demand. Yes, but different definitions, boundaries and different content of autonomy is on the table from different perspectives. Views much more disagreeable and much more extreme have necessarily to come, to be heard or to be understood. It does not mean the Government of India is accepting those views or outright rejecting them without hearing them.
