Congress (I) has accused Mayawati government of Uttar Pradesh for politicizing issues like public health. Congress (I) has lashed out at Mayawati government and has held her responsible for the rampant corruption in the state. When there is nearly medical emergency in the state of UP on account of encephalitis essential issues like public health should not have been politicized by state government. People are so much angry with Mayawati government that they are demanding a fresh case of disproportionate assets be lodged against BSP supremo and UP chief minister Mayawati and her cabinet ministers. Had she taken the issue of corruption seriously the situation of health care services in the state would not have been as bad as it is today. It is only due to corruption in Mayawati’s government that state officials and ministers looted the National Rural Health Missions (NRHM) funds sent by Congress (I)-led UPA government for improving rural health care services in the state. Mayawti must account for this to the people of the state for this sordid state of affairs, said Congress (I).
