Hitting hard against BJP for taking corrupt ministers thrown out by BSP, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said BJP is running the “most corrupt” governments in the states ruled by it. BJP took a trip across India against corruption but they themselves run the moot corrupt governments in Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Jharkhand, he said while on a public contract program for the upcoming Assembly elections in UP. With intensive campaigning by him in poll bound state there is a tremendous upsurge in support for Congress (I) party. Rahul Gandhi also attacked Mayawati. He said Congress (I)-led UPA government is sending thousands of crores for welfare schemes like MNREGA to Uttar Pradesh for the poor. But the money is not reaching them. It has been eaten by the "magical elephant" sitting in Lucknow, he added as an obvious reference to BSP's election symbol. Rahul Gandhi urged the people to support Congress (I) to end the two decades old non-Congress misrule that ruined the state of Uttar Pradesh.
