Mayawati, Mulayam shunned aam admi: Rahul Gandhi

Lashing out against Mayawati, Mulayam Singh Yadav as well as BJP for not caring about the issues of the people, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has accused them of shunning aam admi. These parties altogether forget about the aam admi on whose vote they came to power, said Rahul Gandhi while addressing a public meeting in Unnao for the ongoing assembly elections.

Once in power these parties closed door on the people, he further said and added that Mayawati has been chief minister four times and Mulayam Singh Yadav three times; if they return they will again make false promises but would do nothing. He asked the audience whether Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav had ever visited the villages to know the problems of the people.

He also ridiculed BJP for its bogus India Shining slogan and Mulayam for converting Bundelhand into Israel without there being any water or electricity. Highlighting that Congress (I) wants to change the state for the betterment of its people, Rahul Gandhi exhorted the voters to give five years to his party to form the government and assured that a government of the poor and aam admi by Congress will work for their welfare and development of the state.
