Rahul Gandhi says, Amethi is my home and family

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi struck an emotional chord with the people of Amethi by saying that it is the people who possess knowledge and strength than anyone else. The Congress MP from Amethi also attended a big public rally there.

“You have the strength and you have the knowledge. I could learn it when I visited your homes. I will never forget your love, affection and support. It is sure that if U.P develops, Amethi and Raebareli will also progress. I will not take away my focus from Amethi. This is my house and family” said Rahul Gandhi.

“I am fighting for you and to take your voice to Lucknow, Please fight for me in Amethi” said the Congress leader. Referring his sister Priyanka Gandhi’s campaign in Amethi and Raebareli, Rahul Gandhi said “Priyanka had told me to leave Amethi, Raebareli and Sultanpur for the people there as I am busy in campaigning at entire Uttar Pradesh. I feel sorry for not able to spend more time here with you. I will come again after elections and will have a cup of tea with you. This is my home”.

Rahul Gandhi asserted “Congress will bring in changes. The changes will be visible in five years. The state of Uttar Pradesh will again reach to the top position and the entire country will be surprised to see the development”.

Exuding the confidence among the Congress workers Rahul Gandhi said “I am very happy to tell you that entire Congress workers are working as a single unit in UP. Whenever Congress fights together, all other opponents run away. Please be sure, Congress is winning here”.
