Development is the right of the people, says Priyanka Gandhi in UP

Congress (I) star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s interactive style of functioning going amidst the people and mingling with them had given the people as well as the Congress workers a wake-up call in Raebareli and Amethi constituencies.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had urged the people to wake up to fight for their rights. Reminding the people that ‘this election is crucial for the development of the state and your future’, Priyanka Gandhi had said that Congress (I) campaign headed by Rahul Gandhi was about the people and development of the state. “Development is the right of the people”, asserted Priyanka Gandhi.

But in UP non-Congress parties have relegated it to level of gratitude, added the Congress leader. Priyanka Gandhi had called upon people to change this negative politics. “Only developmental policies can solve the issues of the people and bring progress in the state and not the politics of caste or religion that has been fanned in the last 22 years”, Priyanka Gandhi argued. The Congress campaigner had also assured that the people that their vote for Congress (I) would be vote for progress of the people and development of the state. Congress (I) will make sure that the voice of the people reach Lucknow and not ignored as it happened in the last 22 years, asserted Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
