Rahul Gandhi explains the misdeeds of non-Congress parties

Explaining the misdeeds of the non-Congress leaders like Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said the people of Uttar Pradesh are fed up with the misrule of these leaders for the past 22 years. These leaders have indulged in loot of public funds and rampant corruption, said Rahul Gandhi while addressing public meetings at various places in the state for the recent assembly elections. They have been responsible for the misrule and bad state of affairs in UP, he had further said adding that the people of the state now wanted to see Congress (I) party back in power to put the state back in order. Rahul Gandhi said while neighboring states like Haryana and Delhi are developing fast, there is no progress in Uttar Pradesh. “Tell me which state has not developed under Congress (I) rule in the country,” the Congress leader had asked the people. Congress (I)-led UPA has been sending welfare and developmental schemes with thousands of crores of rupees but there is nothing on the ground here, he added. These leaders have been simply looting the funds instead of spending on the welfare and developmental schemes, Rahul Gandhi further said. Urging the people this time to vote for Congress (I), Rahul Gandhi assured them that his party would bring tremendous development which they would see in only five years time.
